Tavistock Relationships featured in Monarchy and Democracy: 100 years of Leadership
Published in Press Releases by Paula Scott on June 15th 2026
Tavistock Relationships was recently honoured to be an official partner of Monarchy and Democracy: A History of Leadership, a commemorative publication produced by the History of Parliament Trust. The publication was launched in the College Garden at Westminster Abbey on 9 June 2026.

The project brought together organisations that have contributed to social change over the past century and the publication explores the evolving roles of Crown and Parliament in the leadership of the UK and the Commonwealth.

The event welcomed Members of Parliament, public figures, journalists and business leaders from a range of sectors.

Tavistock Relationships' feature in the publication highlights the organisation's long standing expertise and contribution to the field of couple therapy, family relationships and gold standard clinical training and research and carries this reputation internationally.
Andrew Balfour, Chief Executive of Tavistock Relationships, commented:
"To be included in this publication is an affirmation of the contribution Tavistock Relationships has made over many decades.
Since our beginnings in 1948, we have remained at the forefront of understanding and supporting couple relationships and family life, helping to navigate social and relational change and the impact this has on mental and physical wellbeing and the quality of not only how we relate to others, but also to ourselves.
This recognition reflects not only our history, but also the continued relevance of our work today and the growing need for high quality psychotherapeutic support.
It is also a testament to the expertise and commitment of our clinicians, researchers and staff, whose work continues to make a meaningful difference to the individuals, couples and families we support."

The publication will be available in digital and print formats, distributed to key political, institutional and educational audiences across the UK, Europe and the Commonwealth.
